Do you have a passion for both photography and food? eMenu International needs you! An industry leader in restaurant software. But what for? Menus!

Our Team designs magnificent virtual menus for enhancing the dining experience. In 2023 we’re continuing to evolve at a rapid pace and are seeking a full-time photographer/videographer to help us tell the story of the restaurant through its dishes and beverages. The Photographer/Videographer is a major contributor to the visual impact of eMenu and plays a critical role in meeting the expectations of our clients!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Taking photography and video of clients menu dishes and beverages after it is plate and wine pouring
· Self managing shoots, managing client and direction for shoots, including setup and breakdown of camera equipment, surfaces, lights, etc.
· Completing post-production work, which includes retouching photos, exporting final versions according to the sizes and specs required, as well as editing video
· Food styling and working chefs, and owners to get the most appealing images
· Travel in NY, NJ, and travel opportunities out of state if interested

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or related field or equivalent experience
· 4-8+ years of professional photography experience for food, with both still photography and video
· A diverse portfolio that exhibits a range of style and technique, both in-studio and on-location
· Technical experience in still life and product photography, including lighting techniques. Must also have a portfolio that represents experience in food and lifestyle photography.
· Strong retouching abilities on a range of shot types, able to make fast turnaround times of multiple images
· Able to art direct own shoots
· Expertise with camera and studio lighting equipment
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Able to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced production environment.
· Enthusiasm for food and food trends, as well as photo/design trends.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both verbally and written.
· Must be comfortable with shifting schedule including nights, weekends, Sundays, and holidays. (we well reach out to confirm your availability and can work around your schedule)
· US or IDP Driver’s License (Preferred)

Salary

$300 per day

Time Commitment
(Average 4-6 hours)
*Existing client frequently reach out for updates and new items – these shoots can be anywhere from 5 to 20 photos and take 1 to 2 hours
